Lol... Farmers are the absolute best at what ever it takes as long as it does not cost anything.

Sorry, it looked like you tied two straps together to make it longer

    You are a farmer if-
Does your dog ride in your truck more than your wife?
You've never thrown away a 5 gallon bucket?
Give you $1,000,000 & you would keep farming. You'd farm differently, but keep farming because it's who you are.

I'll be here all week folks.

What's the issue with the knots being in the scale side? I hardly go thru scales but when I do the knots are always in the side. The ratchets are on the side hooks are on the other it's the way the trailer was designed. I didn't you are correct I just didn't want them blowing in the wind.

I am puller so I pull a lot of stuff for the broker I work for semi bottoms, end dumps, flatbeds ect. That being said I don't leave my straps on the trailer cause they won't be there when I go back for it. So what do you guys do with the extra piece of strap, it sounds like putting it in a knot is bad?

yea I agree it wasnt the best idea with only two straps. I don't use chains probably cause I don't know how to properly use them. If the broker wanted chains he could of sent one of his trucks. I arrived early he was aware of the situation. I moved the equipment probably like 5 miles had a escort the entire way. All in all it was a new good experience.

We thought you had two pieces of strap knotted together. With winches like that I keep the excess on the spool.

Dye Guardian and MJ1657 Thank this.
