I see your point, I miss used the word turn what I meant was an exit off the highway that was an odd one. It had one lane going west with traffic merging onto the exit a little bit further up while I was trying to take the east exit which shares the same lane as merging traffic. So he pointed to the west exit and told me to go east which just confused me. I haven't missed any turns so far but I have missed an exit or two. But I do understand his frustration with my mistakes as I would probably lose my temper with someone if I told them about the issue already. I just wish he wouldn't side seat drive so much and wait a split second for me to react before saying something to me because he always ends up telling me to do something right before I was going to do it on my own. I wasn't trying to make him look bad I just needed somewhere to vent some frustration with people who understood what I'm dealing with. He's a great teacher and gave me what I assume is his version of a complement today on my shifting and backing so it's improving.

Yeah, but at least I didn't try to go under that bridge! It could have damaged the truck.

Yes I map the route out and then tell him what I come up with but he already has the route planned out in his head so I have to try and match his and if I don't I have to go back and work it out again usually by the second or third wrong route he will tell me which way we're going. We do things his way which is fine as I knew it was going to be that way from day one when he told me it's his way or the highway.

Don't know if you were in the military or not but there is a saying that comes to mind, "adjust, achieve and overcome" soon you'll be running your own truck your way...

Lmao he didn't do that truck any justice. He probably would have done better going under.

Typically when I have gotten a load like that it comes with a "do what you can and keep us posted." Given the distance and customer in Rochelle you'll more that likely need a new appointment time, but if you pull it off then kudos to you...

The urban legend is that he didn't get fired, he was actually sent back out with a trainer...
