Ditto what everyone else said. Stay there a year man, it won't always be easy but you will be glad you did. Just about every company out there has some sort of policy about excessive speed, including Schneider. Just gotta roll with it, you are driving their truck after all. Hang in there.
Swift or schneider

And one more thing when you leave leave as friends ( even if your not ) It will be the best decision you made! A company that size can really mess with your dac and never look back! Calm heads prevail in this business.

Schneider is 62 as well. No cameras, but they will get on you. Qualcomm tracks you. I'd be willing to wager the tires on your truck probably aren't rated for any kind of speed. I always consider what could go wrong at a given time. You go flying down a mountain, what guarantee do you have that there isn't someone across the road around the bend? Or that your steer isn't gonna pop.
My truck would do 94. I'm sure you've passed me once or twice, cause I pretty much ran in the low 60's.
Now I will say when you get on the roller coaster in NM, or MO, or IA, yea its nice to run 70 to 78, just cause when your heavy the inertia flings you back up, its actually easier on the fuel. Like I said though, what is the speed rating on your rubber? 70MPH @ 78K pounds + blown steer tire. Ever here that Patty Smythe song

I'm a week out from my year with swift. Overall I would say it has been a good experience.
Swift does plenty to annoy the heck out of you, but I would imagine every company has its quirks.
Most of my frustration and wanting to bounce as soon as I confirm my one year vacation pay, is actually rooted in the dedicated account and that halfassed companies warehouse operations. -
Schneider s newest trucks have forward facing cameras now
Friday Thanks this. -
I'd go with Schneider so not to deal with cameras.
Tyson Food trucks governed at 66.
Plenty of choices out there with companies that can't listen to you talking in the truck.Friday Thanks this. -

Driver facing cam is strikes 1, 2 and 3 to me so I would be hopping. Plus, I like my time at Schneider and they don't do driver cams and I don't think they are about too.
Rocknroller4 Thanks this.
