No a roll over is a major issue and the insurance companies look at cost factors
No knocking the driver, but roll overs and bridge hits are big career killers, unless you got a good reason and proof that clears you

I would think Covenant is better than what Rambo makes them out to be.

I actually applied and went to orientation with them once at the new facility near Eagle Mountain. They conducted a hearing test (Im deaf.. but legal with hearing aids) in a room with 50 people talking and so forth processing many recruits quickly.

I talked with a lawyer and spoke with Federal Motor Carriers and both were in support. Ultimately what I was told (Taught) is that a Trucking Company is the ultimate decider who gets hired and who does not.

If I was a company and took in a stack of applications and DAC's those that are clean are going to get a second look. The rest do not stand a good chance.. UNLESS you try something different. I once wrote to a company in Arkansas to consider taking a chance on me because I was completing almost three years very good service with a dump truck and a beaver trailer in fact, was rated the top driver in my time there. What I did not know then was the Owner accepted my request and took a chance on me so what resulted after my time working for him became a awesome new home adopting Arkansas and leaving Maryland. The Owner is out of business now (Pretty hard to consider when you think about almost 300 trucks and accounts worth billions globally that load some of those trucks...) I will always be thankful for his taking an oppertunity.

I don't mind talking about hard things if you can listen and learn. At the same time I don't want to destroy you. I want to give you a chance to make a way to a better future in trucking but it will probably not be today or tomorrow. Hang in there. If you truly want to evolve into a professional (As far as Im concerned you are expected not to survive a roll over to be honest...) you will take the time to do so.

If its on your dac report, but not on your MVR,

    simply

work for a company that doesn't use DAC !!!

Thousands of small outfits out there.

doesn't get much easier that that...........

The good ones. Those that don't need to advertise when they need drivers.

No such list exists, and many of these companies don't even have a website.

Little harder landing a job with such companies, but well worth it. And don't think just because it's a small company, that all you'll see is 1099s, junk equipment, and fudged paper logs.

I work for a 15 truck company, drive a two year old truck, which I've had from New, run elogs as of last week, and have benefits equivalent to any other big company. But better pay
