    Pssh those numbers were back when freight wasnt in the tank, that "cakewalk" you actually have to work for now. I think why many of the Schneider drivers are always cranky and beachibg often is because we were spolied in the past, myself included.

    I remember to gross $5000 in a week all id have to do was 350 miles a day at $2 (which was very easy over two loads) and I'd have a very nice paycheck without working hard. Those days are over with

    According to DAT freight rates have jumped about 5% on van and 10% for reefer as of last week. Maybe things will start improving, who knows

    Things are a lot better than winter that's for sure but compared to last year it's still not even close.

    Where does DAT get their numbers from??? Although it's spot market freight to begin with find 5 O/O who filled out the magical survey that asks what rates are they getting

    Not to seem like I'm a A-hole but me and my buddy at the blue star had this convo about DAT numbers and I told him that both of our companies mainly pull contract freight so why get caught up in it. Yea it may have a small trickle down affect but not enough to tell our shipper that they should pay more or less according to a public load board
