Doesn't CR England also require teaming if you don't want to fleece purchase a truck? Why did you go from CRE to gold plated CRUST if you liked it there?

    rachi Thanks this.

Good plan! Once you're in Texas, Old Dominion is a good company to consider. A nice linehaul job there and you'll be set for life.

Been through there many times. Dozens of good jobs in that area. A&R Logistics is a good one and only need 6 months experience. Plenty of others in that area hire new cdl grads right out of school.

How long is the CRST contract? 7 mos. or 9 mos.?
Either way, you'll have enough experience by then to go with dozens of companies.
Look closely at Old Dominion and A&R Logistics in Houston area.

My mistake, friend. I never went to school. I went to the DMV, got the CDL book, passed the written test and found me a job as a back up driver for a small company. Had to run with another driver for a couple week and usedtheir truck for the road test.

But you're right...noone will hire you without experience. I wager i got turned down on many a driving jobs too because of no experience. Thats why i aimed for the warehouse...all i needed was a foot in the door.

My trainer went to school there. Got his cdl. Stayed a year. Got hired on at Crete. Never viewed him as a team driver. Do you even believe the crap that your selling?
