Ok all need to chose a company. Decided I want to stay Western 11 and prefer dry van..so I am down to these choices:

Western Express (I hear they don't keep you Western 11 sometimes)
    Swift
    Werner
    May Trucking

Don't know who to start off with.

@Rocknroller4 Where are you located? Looking for a cdl school or just a entry level company? Running preference(areas you want to run), type of freight?(van, reefer, flatbed, tanker). I'll second waiting for @Chinatown to log in, but he will need the info asked above to give you a good recommendation.

I am in the Northwest. Prefer Van. Chinatown has been very helpful. I am just at a loss as to which company would be less risky in regards to protecting my CDL and having reputable trainers.

Have you done some research like which one has a terminal closest to your house, what they pay rookies, etc. Of the ones you listed I would definitely not go to Western Express unless you have a long criminal record.
