    This how I see it done all the time. I don't do it this way but then I have only side loaded twice in three years.It litterally takes only 2-3 minutes to drop the trailer and remove the neck. And we have all mechanical necks on our trailers.

    That's legal if he has a cdl and the pickup is registered high enough for the gross. I'd prefer the machine a bit further back though.
