Biggest Detroit you can get is 600hp 2050tq. I have the 600/1850, it pulls well.

I was just concerned about the jake but it looks like they are looking at this truck in Idaho Falls. It has an ISX 500. Specs are right for what we do. @Oxbow are you familiar with this truck? I think it is part of a fleet.

No, I can't say that I am. It kind of looks like a Simplot truck with the stripes repainted, but almost all of them had steerable tag axles. That building doesn't look like the KW dealership in I.F., maybe the picture was taken at another one of their stores.

They are going to call on it tomorrow while I am cruising up to the ATHS show in Salem, OR. Maybe when I get back on Wed., they will fly me out to pick it up. Cant wait to get rid of the 85 W900 I'm in now. I would bet its the most worn out truck on TTR.

Let me know if you need picked up at our huge airport, or anything else. It does look nice.
My 89 Pete's probably aren't much better, but they don't get worked like yours does.

got to drive a T800, about that wheelbase with a series 60 in it, for a few years around 2000 or so. had 800K plus on the clock. Was a good ride all around, with that setback axle, very manuverable, cab was still very tight. easy on fuel. I liked it!

@truckdad It may feel weird, even uncomfortable not sitting at the end of a dining room table every day!

    truckdad and johndeere4020 Thank this.

We have one truck that will give you a run for your money. 83 Autocar with a KW cab on it now and it's 4th CAT motor. This one pulls the 9 axle all the time and just got upgraded to 550 hp from 475. He had a 400 komatsu on it last week and pulled the pass at 35 mph and has never been able to come close to that before. I had to pilot him last year with a scraper and he could only pull that at 10 mph.
