Schneider Racist Hypocrites

That he was fat and grumpy? I would be too. Imagine rolling out of bed and staring at your badge that says "Head of Training for Schneider"? I would want to drown myself in maple syrup also.

I think the point Gabby was making is that Schneider needed to manage expectations for the schools and new drivers. Shifting can be subjective. One guy may shift well in one truck but grind in another. As long as he knows the motion, grinding can be cured by spending a little more time getting to know the truck. But that's not what the recruiters said over the phone and when they visit Truck Driving Schools Fact is Schneider has a quota and their goal is to drop a certain number of students -- it happens all the time.

 

We considered schneider for about ten minutes. The recruiters lie at all companies.

You know what recruiters really hate. People that ask intelligent questions. We wanted to see the Portland terminal because that was one of the recruiter's selling points. The company cares so much about its drivers that it has amazing terminals for your comfort. Etc. but, for whatever reason we couldn't visit the terminal closest to our house.

We didn't want to waste the money we spent going to school for a mediocre company. So we looked and found a much better option.

 

You said that the instructors were sexist and then made you watch hours of "boring" sexual harassment videos. Pot, meet Kettle. Kettle, meet Pot.

forener I didn't trust my trainer he intension was not train me he try everthing to fail me

My complaint as a Schneider western regional company driver was that 80% of the loads were live load and unload. The loading/unloading took 5 to six hours at best. 8 hours was a common wait time.
