Also, cutting back on burgers quite considerably. But when I do want one, I typically make the drive out to the Carl's Jr at the Loves in Santa Rosa for a double-six dollar burger. Once or twice a month on that binge. I've tried Whataburger a few times since it's along my nightly route. But while Texans think it's one of the better places, my palate is still stuck on all the places I used to frequent back when I lived in SoCal.

The state/culture clash remains alive and well!!

 

I'm 6'. She's not that short I don't think. .

Something smothered in green chili?


I stopped at Iowa 80 and had a Reuben omelet. Then it came out and I got kinda worried about the sauerkraut and thousand island dressing with eggs. It was better than it looked and the dressing did ok on the hash browns.

But It was Iowa 80, and still the same as it was a fee years ago; the egg was overcooked, toast was black, and the hash browns had an aftertaste of old oil. But the service was good...

 

@Dave_in_AZ You're either in Tonopah or Eloy? Guess I'm slow today, cause I just don't get it?
