    Actually saw one on the road, they were tried on some line haul loads from OKC to the left coast, saw it several times on i40.

    Anyone care to guess what they used for power?

    @x1Heavy Canada has slightly different weight laws than the U.S.

    Not sure about Ontario but In BC you can legally run 5,500kg on steers, 17,000kg on tandems and 24,000kg on tridems. I believe Alberta limits tridems to 23,000kg though but don't quote me on that. In total you'd be allowed to gross 46,500kg or about 102,500 lbs on 6 axles. I believe a standard 5 axle can gross 39,500 kg or about 87,000 lbs.
