Not too far off. It's Kootenay Falls on Hwy 2 just west of Libby, MT. Not far from the scales at the Hwy 56 junction. Plenty of room for truck parking. Nice little hike to the falls and the swinging bridge.

14,260 steer. 57,800 truck tridem. 54,620 trailer tridem. 11,420 stinger.

After I loaded yesterday I had to leave trailer at Keens yard and run all over trying to find either a new air pressure regulator for stinger, or handle for the one I had. Was setting up stinger and went to air up bags after I shimmed it and notice my handle was missing.

Fleet pride didn't have anything, Napa had a different kind that was goin to adapt to use it, then the manager at napa said to try the air compressor and painting place across town because they carry that brand of valve. Went there and they had the full actual valve assembly there, just needed the handle though. Guy searched his shelf and found one, so asked if he had another one, so I bought 2 of them and put one in my tool box.

Went back to Keens yard and reinstalled valve and hooked back up to trailer then scaled it and dropped it at their yard for night since was already 4pm and they were going home and I didn't have a permit.

Your lucky they let you leave it there. Most Keen yards say bye bye when they are closing, not trl. parking allowed.. Carlise you have to have a permit before you ld

Victoria has always let you leave a loaded trailer there.

Yup, last time I was there they wanted to see my permit first, this time didn't say anything about it, hopefully finally realized how much money gets wasted by carriers maxing out theirs weights to make sure they are covered.

At the one is Oswego I usually pad my weights a bit from what I think it should be just so can have a permit when go in there.

Pulled in this morning and there were 7 dropped trailers there from last night from other companies. Really like the fact that its concrete parking lot there.

I always liked loading there, it's a nice place. You can even use their shower, bring your own towel.

I was too late for a guess. I've overnighted at the scales/rest area there a few times- all by myself every time.

    Oxbow and cnsper Thank this.

Nice, have you split weighed your tractor tri's with your 5th wheel set there? I'm curious how much of a difference that longer wheelbase makes.
