Thought I would do a thread on my on going jb hunt experience

Made $422 today. Done at 4:30. 10 hours, averaged a little over $42/hr

 

That's $1146 for the week

 

Today was a easy day. 3 deliveries, all in Columbus Ohio. Sitting at a shipper for a backhaul. Made $340 today in a little under 9 hours.

 

Yea doing ok. The money is there but it is hard work. JB Hunt has and continues to be a pleasant suprise. Everything from their attitude and how they address me with respect to the fact that I have been told the 100% truth on anything I have asked.

Either way, here is my break down for today. 5 stops. Made $482.52 but I just got done and worked sense 0600 as o a 12 hour day. Broken down hourly I made $40.21 a hour.

 

Well I was going to but have different plans so figured I would stick it out on the FD account.

I do not plan on leaving JBH though. I have had a chance to talk to 12 lease purchase guys alonv with 2 o/o's that run for JBH and plan on doing a l/p to see how I can fair. One of the o/o's is power only and has ran for JBH for 3 years and had nothing but great things to say, had 3 l/p drivers that are with in 6 months of paying their trucks off show and prove to me that they are bringing home over $1400 a week. And that is with them dropping by there house for a 34 about every week and a half.

 

It does pay good. I do 3 loads a week and make $1000 to $1200. If I so desired I could do a sunday run also and jump that to a good $1500 to $1600 a week
