Thanks I will send it in. Not holding my breath on getting 14hrs detention though.

 

No regular route to Canada, you may never go at all but a trainee recently had to be dropped off so a Canada run could be done.

I have work boots and have never worn them on the truck and only yesterday did I need a vest and that only because I wanted to use a bathroom that was other side of a warehouse. Still they weigh nothing so bring it.

Trucks have bunk heaters so doubt you will need sleeping bag but if you are using that instead of sheets then bring it.

Bring a towel and shower shoes/flip flops. Truck stops provide towel and washcloth but you will need those when using showers at Richmond. Also laundry facilities at Richmond use quarters so start saving those. You can use credit/debit card at truck stop laundry.

Start mentally preparing for minimal sleep unless you are one of these strange individuals that can sleep through anything. These trucks bounce ALOT on rough roads.

Appreciate the advice. I have sleeping bag just to make sure. Steel toe boots just in case I will need one. Flipflops and towels. About sleeping, I can sleep even in truck haha weird but I am used to it since I was raised overseas!

Do we get paid weekly or biweekly?
