Prime okay with antidepressants?

There appear to be several opinions in this thread about driving while taking medications for mental health issues. So far they seem to range from "Nobody should be driving with mental health issues" to "Lie to them. It's none of their business anyway."

I would ask each of you to consider that if you understand the rules and take even a small amount of time to gain a rudimentary understanding of mental health disorders and treatments you will have far less to worry about.

Not only that but, heaven forbid, it could be you one day or somebody you love that becomes afflicted with mental illness. If you do choose to learn about this topic the knowledge you will have gained will be empowering.

Just something to consider.

Don't get me wrong, if it were permitted by the DOT i'd be right up there with that whiz dude.

 

Call me stupid, what are the 5 different substances they test for? I've taken plenty of drug tests, mostly hair, but have never known what exactly they look for. I always assumed it was just the illegal substances.

 

Adderal is an amphetamine, so it will show up on a 5 panel DOT drug test, prescribed or not.

 

They test for metabolites of cocaine, amphetamines, marijuana, PCP and opiates.

Many companies do a 10 or 20 panel drug test which also includes common anti anxiety benzodiazepines like Valium.

 

Prime should hand out free antidepressants as an incentive to make up for the slow freightshakers

 

My slow freightshaker IS an antidepressant already. I just sit back, chill out and drive every day like it's Sunday. Doesn't get much more relaxed than that.

 

Also cash in the bank is a great anti depressant!
