    Yep I know. But still like seeing actual numbers. Every one has a different opinion on what good pay is, so I prefer numbers

    It paid just shy of 1300. For being an easy strap and go going less than 600 miles. To me that's a decent rate

    Around here there are only a couple of places that pay that and they are all union jobs. Not my cup of tea

    1300 to you as a company driver? Or do you mean that was the gross pay to the carrier?

    Freight rate to the truck. Comes out to somewhere around $2.00/mile loaded.

    Yep it's obvious that wasn't driver pay. 2 bucks a mile is pretty much standard rate for general easy freight. Nothing to be ashamed of for sure, but also nothing to get excited about.

    Considering the lumber loads i hauled at tmc never touched more than 1.65 id say 2 a mile is decent

    $2/mile for lumber is pretty good. Lumber isn't general freight. Everything has different rates.

    Can you find lumber loads that pay north of $2/mile consistently

    No idea, that was my firat and only lumber load with btc, in the past i was always told that the only time they take lumber loads is if there was nothing else, however we was also told since i come back that things have change since the first of the year that they area even hauling some dry wall now
