That would be cool. I can definitely build off of that. I'm not trying to come into it thinking that even what your normal is, should be what I expect as well. I know you work hard to be in that position. But I've done two lease purchase before... Both unsuccessfully because of cheap ##* freight after about the first few months. I'm burned out in favors for dispatchers and in the end, im the one who loses. I will take every step and precaution necessary, to increase my bottom line. I want this to work. That's why I've been coming to you guys so much. In hopes of learning all I can and make it my own. Thanks for all the advice. Seriously fellas

 

Maybe not at first. But I know the area I live will find me an agent or broker who has consistent freight into and out of my area. Im all for working hard and building a positive repor. But you will never in a million years convince me that I have to live in the truck to make money.

 

What area are you in ? There are some good agents and some so so ones. Just like every where else Lol. Just keep your head up and keep working at it and you will be ok. Crst will let you be sucessful or let you fail it's your business. Always rember that..

Jesus Christ how come you guys didn't tell me diesel was so high right now. I'm absolutely shocked with these truck stop signs coming West on I-20 right now.

 

I definitely don't wanna see the Northeast prices right now if it's this high in the south.

 

Don't worry too much about the fuel you'll get a significant discount at the petro and the t/a and 20¢ off at the pilot and loves. I'm still paying near to $2 a gallon. I'm also seeing the fsc climbing, at least with the customer I'm working with. It's gone up 4¢ a mile in the past month to compensate for the fuel cost going up. Just remember to be smart about your fuel consumption and it won't hurt the bottom line as much as your thinking

 

I run a lot in Indiana, Michigan and Ohio so this is what I'm seeing after the discounts. So not quite down at $2 but much lower than the retail price

 

Wish my phone would pull those up. I'm having to use my laptop. Takes awhile doing it that way.
