    I don't have to...I check my tires.
Blown Tires are neglect...I'm not referring to a peeled cap. A tire that goes Kaboom is the result of no check, curbed, etc.
    Now carry on...

... or things like picking up a nail along the way. While I agree that most tire failures may be attributed to curbing or incorrect inflation, stuff happens.

Last one I had didn't blow, just a real slow leak. So I had a day and went to get it repaired at a T/A. Just a simple patch. Oh no. NO, NO, NO. I get the kid that didn't pass shop class, but somehow got a job at T/A ( Ohio ). So he finally gets the thing off the rim, finds the leak, and promptly tears the inner liner. So $175 & 3 hours later I had my new ( used matching tread depth ) tire.

I must admit at first I misread this title, but have still been entertained by this thread.

I've blown a couple. Usually always an old recap on a trailer. They just give up sometimes. I don't think I've ever had virgin tires blow out. I've always just found the nearest tire shop and drove it over. Last time really ticked me off. I got about 30 miles down the toll road in IN from Elkhart and had one blow up at about 10 pm. Went to Loves in Angola on 69 (nice new place BTW) and they threw a new one on. Then I get a call from some clown at Premier trailer leasing a few days later questioning the whole thing like *I* did something wrong.
