Ok... Things are fixed... 37 CPM after SIX Months.... Then 38 CPM after TWO years.
(I thought it was 38 CPM after one year)

So, what ended up happening was someone else involved someone much higher up the chain who had made the call based on old outdated information... Simple mistake...

    BUT... for other newbies,

although it will be corrected, and I will be getting my 1 CPM from May 1st forward, it did not flow smoothly or automatically... for me...

When you are close to your six months solo, either passively watch to make sure the increase kicks in or actively touch base with the powers that be.

thanks for your feedback folks, much appreciated.

    Stay Safe,
    MD

Hi. I've actually been lurking this thread in my search of a new company, and I definitely have had this one on my list. It's just a matter of making the jump. I want to make sure I switch to the right company. I don't like job hopping. Nice quality miles (long trips) are probably what are most important to me, and from what I've read it seems you guys get a lot? At my current company, I have been averaging around 2000-2300 miles/wk staying out for 4-5 weeks. Not so great imo

I read you guys earn a day off per every six out. Do those accumulate? Or is it a use it or lose it after a certain amount type of deal?

At the Pilot in Danville. Got another late load that the consignee almost refused. Luckily, my good ole Texan and Southern charm changed his mind.

But, got a trailer that the top clearance lights don't work. So, that means I have to sleep in a bit in the morning. :angryfire:

But, seriously, I have to dead head back to Richmond to get my Truck's transmission looked at as well as write up the trailer lights. Once again, I'm behind on laundry. This 7 day a week thing is getting old. But, they keep sending me on 14 hr eaters rather than 11 hr eaters and leave me with little time or energy. I would LOVE JB's runs. I do miss the resets.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

My longest trip to date has been 900 ish but I've only been here a month and i hear they give the newbies the shorter runs so they dont feel overwhelmed. Even with the shorter runs 3k a week is easily doable. It certainly isn't a case of them not having the loads to run.

You can take up to 7 days off without cleaning out truck. They do advise that your truck could be used while off though.
