Is BadBill the one up in Portland or around there? If so, he still owes me a steak dinner.

...now maybe everyone will believe my situation and previous "F2F NOT PAYING" thread! It's very difficult to not be pissed off when you TRUST someone with your $$$ and your fed BS.
    Again I say...WHEN YOU TRUST...

I think the WORSE part of all this is, those of us that got burned, truly believed the excuses, lies, stories, etc because after meeting those guys, you felt you were dealing with straight up people (really liked them) and believed in them!!!

I'm going to try ONE more time to give them an opportunity to RIGHT the WRONG...

You're talking about someone else Skate-Board - not the same person as this BBB.

It wasn't that. It was just that you left some shippers in a lurch apparently or so we were told. We were told a lot of things. And I do know that some drivers when they quit had stolen from the company and left trailers they rented from the company who knows where half way across the country.

One guy even took a trailer that didn't belong to him and they never got it back. They did such a poor job managing things that apparently when some drivers quit but their fuel card would still work afterwards so they got free fuel courtesy of Farm2Fleet. No matter what they did two wrongs don't make a right.

Exactly, so you were told. I informed those guys the Thursday before if I wasn't paid , I would not pick up load and I would not run until I was settled.

So I politely left trailer at shipper until I was to be paid...well, several weeks later NO PAY and trailer was still in NC at shipper and as far as I know maybe still there (to your point about poor management/knowledge trailer where about)

The name change transaction on an MC authority can be a lot of things. Most common would be just that (what is printed on the truck doors) or could be a new address or business form (sole proprietor to inc for example).

However, the catch is that you must include a statement that there is no change in the ownership, management, or control of the business. This would be why you weren't able to do a name change on your acquisition, while @spyder7723 could use a different name on the same old company.

No doubt a change of ownership is ok, as long as the name remains. But would it be possible to successfully complete a name change at some later time, once the new ownership has been established? What did you end up doing with that Kansas?

I'm curious, as I've done the name change transaction for a business form change. FMCSA did scrutinize the supporting documents, even calling me to verify a few details, before approving the change.

Incidentally, the only ownership exception allowed in the name change process is to transfer operating rights from a deceased or incapacitated spouse to the other spouse.

Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong with their trailer. I guess they didn't want to hear what you said about not being paid and pretended like you never said it. Not surprising. Yeah a lot of people got burned. My aplogies because I know a lot of them read what I posted here. They took advantage of that with recruiting. But I never recruited anyone. You know what's funny is about 2 weeks before I quit I got an email from Ryan asking me if I would speak with a couple of prospects over the phone who were coming in for orientation soon. Can you imagine they owed me money and asked me that?
