Ive been busy running!. Twice this week I have delivered hp loads with less than 10 mins to deadline.

You know you are under pressure when you start talking out loud to car drivers pleading with them to move over so you can pick up a few seconds on the clock.

 

I have that and the transflow app and have yet to use either. Not saying I don't trust them but the paper receipt gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I use the Transflo App from day one soloing... Awesome to send in paperwork anytime anyplace.... And you get a confirmation number within the app and a confirmation email with a link to what was sent... Had NOT had ONE issue with it.

Just started using the CAT Scale App.
Loving it just as much... So much easier.

And you still get the actual official copies at the fuel desk without 20 questions. And a copy of the scale ticket via email too.

 

They never know when we are coming...even after calling. A manager at Sams club tried telling me to come back tomorrow as no-one there knew I was coming.

It wasn't until I showed him that store's phone number on my call logs 7 hours earlier that he relented.

I had to help corral them and load them on the trailer but I didn't mind as I am sure the cute asst manager overseeing the operation was flirting with me.

I may have to try the scale app one day though my phone often thinks I am in another state when I try to use google maps so who knows what will come of that.

 

What on earth is going on with the quotes?

 

I don't use any of the apps except for Truckers Path, and I don't use it that much. I don't have a smartphone yet. And my tablet won't run phone stuff. Lame, if you ask me. Even the IT guy at base couldn't believe it. But, I like the paper receipts, too.

I'll get a smartphone soon. Not an iPhone, I said smartphone.

 

Don't get an LG if you ever want to use location services. Just checked and mine is now showing me in the correct state...one county over but at least it getting close.

By this time tomorrow it will confidently be able to show me where I was yesterday, which is really today just a day later than now.
