And do not borrow money against your pay.

If you are broke you are broke. Borrowing just makes it worse.

At some point no money, no fuel unable to take a load when they do call you with one is a problem.

As far as withholding names in fear of a hundred posts of kllm sucks or whatever it may be, this is the Internet you will have to wade through the pile to pick out the few good posts.

No one is obligated to give you miles. If the loads are not working out for you profitably, find another company. If it really gets bad, you might sell your truck and just be a company driver.

I'm not a betting person, but I'll bet a dollar to a donut the company trucks are getting plenty of miles.

Week before last I had a load going from Dallas to Connecticut....in one morning I saw at least 15-20 KLLM trucks headed west on 40. Felt like the only shmuck in the company headed east. Lol

Haven't seen firsthand any drivers actually Pay off a truck on a lease purchase program. It's a legal Scam.Mark the price up on the truck and get a free driver till he/she "Quits".The lease to the next "victim".In In the meantime the company gets "Payed for you to drive ie.A free worker.

Run out of victims, there lined up around the
Block to sign up for it. There's more suckers
Looking to lease than the companies have trucks
And freight for them to pull.

But you can't tell them that.
As one lease driver recently told me,
You can't make no money as a company driver.
I just walked away. You can't argue with stupid.

peterd, BUMBACLADWAR and HalpinUout Thank this.
