Let me tell all of you that want to know about them... I did work there for a while. Yes, they have newer equipment that you pay dearly for. When all said and done, definitely not worth it!!!! Pay 725 a week for the truck, another 95 for safety, fuel tax, and ins. Which doesn't sound all that bad till you see what's not in black and white... you don't get any of the fuel discount that they get, you can only use p/fj with the fuel card. They get 18% of all fuel surcharges, and any detention, layover or any other extra you may get from the brokers. I caught them skimming around 200 off the top of the loads!!!! They will nickel and dime you to death. They cover normal "wear and tear", better be able to prove it's not any of your doing if something needs to be fixed, or you will be charged for it. They change or make new policies at the drop of a hat, and most of the time, wont tell you about it till afterwards when you contact payroll because your check isn't correct!!!! I #### near lost everything I own when I left them just trying to get my money. They had just implemented a $2000 escrow before I left, which is supposed to be returned 45 days after departure, but they also keep your last two weeks pay along with your escrow for that time. I had to call and get ugly with them just to get it, in which I still didn't get it all, they found ways to cheat me out of around $1500!!!! Make sure you check your statements, they will get you if not watched!!!
As far as how they run, ta, they will run you illegal as hell, and expect you to do it!!!! The other op was right about what he said. My dispatcher constantly lied to the brokers. And would call and tell me to say the same lies. I'm a team, or I'm 50 to 80 mile closer than I really was, and so on.
Word to the wise, STAY AWAY!!!! THEY TALK A GOOD GAME, but if you won't run illegal, YOU WILL STARVE! !!!!
    You've been warned.

I am working at MBG Logostics for over 3 years and this is one of of the best companies I ever worked for.
Friendly dispetchers, they always find best loads for you. New equipment. Once i broke on the road, and in couple hours i had a new truck, so i don't loose my time and money. I've never had a problem with my checks. If you want to make money, yes, you have to know how to work. My son is truck driver also, but they wont hire him until he has 2 years experience, which is in 6 months. I will definitely recomed my son to work for MB Global.

Just saw an ad from them offering an unbelievable amount of money, after all expenses. But as I always do, I came here to do my due diligence.

    Stay away from this company!!
They advertise .50 cpm but when you go see them they say that they are going to start at .45 a mile to see if you are good and 1099 and the other thing is that they charge you some type of fee if you don't have a corporation or a llc i believe it is like close to $300 that's what they told me!!! Last thing is that you have to pay for the drug test which they say they will reimburse you it's all BS i was going to work for them but when i heard that i just walked away some of the office people don't speak English

Hi guys! I'm a dispatcher in MBGL and I read all the reviews. I started recently and I can't comment on the older postings, but Gearjammer97 definitely played on my nerves. Gearjammer97, your inexperience and lack of objectivity are so frustrating that I felt like replying to you and hopefully educate you. I wish I was getting paid extra for writing this, but I'm not.

Also I would google the company and read the reviews of real people with real names.

-The most annoying of your complains - "My dispatcher constantly lied to the brokers!". OF COURSE WE LIE TO THEM! When you get drunk at the strip club the night before and you are running late - we tell them you had a breakdown! When you slammed the brakes and 20 pallets need to be re-stacked - we tell them the shipper didn't load you properly! When you have enough hours to deliver 600mi next morning OF COURSE I'll sell your time and your work as a team service to the broker! Wouldn't you like to get $500 extra for the same work?! Would you prefer to drive for less $?!
Also are you seriously taking the broker's side instead of covering your dispatcher's back?
Do you realize brokers are a useless middle man who rips off their customer for as much $ as possible and profits from selling it to you for as least as possible?
Do you think any broker gives a s*** about you? About your safety? About your family? About your finances or hours of service? THEY DON'T! They are your ENEMY! They make money from screwing you as much as possible! The less they pay you - the more they keep for themselves! They profit from paying you as little as possible for as much work/miles as possible, for as much weight as possible!!! Every time you were late or had a scratch on a box, or missing cases and DIDN'T get charged - that's because your dispatcher was on the phone 30min lying, cheating, begging, crying, fighting and yelling our way out of trouble and charges!
Your dispatcher is your BEST AND ONLY friend in this business. Smart drivers figure this out very fast.
-You are complaining about not getting fuel discount - well use your own fuel card if you are not happy. If $100 worth of a fuel discount per week will improve your finances - there's no hope for you, my friend. I haven't heard any of my drivers complain about fuel prices cause they average few thousand $ take at home after expenses AND THEY GET TO GO HOME WHENEVER THEY WANT! My guys couldn't care less about fuel, cause they are pro-drivers and they are getting paid like pros. (OK, they do care but they don't bother me with that, cause the more time I have to look for loads - the more $ they'll make). I'm not saying all MB drivers get that much, but my guys do and I'm happy when they get big ### checks, cause the more they make - the more I do, we are performance based and it's awesome to work with happy drivers.

-You claim "they" skimmed you with $200 from the loads- that's ######## and is a common myth among drivers who have no idea how this business works. You can check every load with every broker. Brokers always ask us for driver ph# and they call you guys all the time. If you don't trust your dispatcher - feel free to ask the broker.
-$725 (actually $800) sounds high but you have NO DOWNTIME, cause there's always a Penske in a 100mi radius that bring another truck TO YOU in case of a breakdown. Lately I've seen 2019 Cascadias in the parking lot. $800 doesn't sound that bad now, does it?
-You forgot to mention the 18% includes insurance. And OF COURSE the company takes 18% out of the detentions and layovers, we are running everything through a factoring company. This proves you don't know anything about this business - let me educate you:
95% of the brokers in the US pay to their contractors for the loads we move for them on average 28 days after we send them the physical BOL for the load. But Gerjammer97 doesn't want to wait 28 days! He wants to get paid on his next week's check - right? SO we use factoring company that takes 2-3% of the amount, but gives us the $ NOW. The factoring company gets the full amount from the broker 28 days later. That's the standard practice for every small and medium sized carrier and it has always been like that.
-About the wear and tear and that you have to prove it's not your fault - you are partially right. You do need to prove it you didn't cause the damage. That's Penske and Ryder's requirement and it's pretty logical. Otherwise no driver would ever take responsibility for any damage. You ARE owner operator - that doesn't mean you can cherry pick the benefits and the profit only, you also have responsibilities. If you don't like responsibilities take your irresponsible and entitled butt to Swift or Schneider for $1250 take at home and a free trucker hat.

    - I've seen a lot of policy changes - almost all of them are safety oriented. You can verify that the safety record is improving at SAFER WEB. That means less accidents and lower insurance cost and that's actually good for you, I really hope I don't have to explain why.

    - Th $2000 escrow is the only thing that keeps broke ### rookie drivers from abandoning the truck & loaded trailer in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. By your own words 2 checks and $2000 escrow are your lifetime savings. "I #### near lost everything I own when I left them just trying to get my money", right? And you ended up not getting $1500 back. You say you got "nasty". Who did you get nasty with? The nice girls in accounting? Good job, tough guy!
You say you got cheated. I don't know, I wasn't there. You could have been. But I have a strong suspicion that you just didn't read your statement, eventually read it later but couldn't understand it. But again - that's me speculating.
Did you return the truck back to the yard? Did you return the truck the way you got it, in a reasonably comparable condition? Any missing fenders? Was the interior disgusting mess? Were there any unreported and necessary repairs? I seriously doubt it. A smart driver would've run it through a shop first, have it inspected & cleaned on Penske's dime, that's what I would do.

-I'm betting my car that your check wasn't correct because you didn't submit your BOLs on time. Even if that's the case - you receive your $ on your following check. 99% that's the case with my drivers.

-About running you illegal - my personal practice is to call the driver with a load offer, ask him if he can do it and proceed only with his approval. If he says "no" - I start looking for shorter load and I make sure the driver doesn't feel bad for refusing or feel pressured. Also if a driver who's under a load tells me he's running late or feels tired - I would never push him. Only a very inexperienced dispatcher would do that and they don't hire anybody without references. What I do is to call the broker / receiver and reschedule. Sometimes we lose a lot of profit and time, but I sleep fine at night and none of my drivers has been injured or has injured someone else. This is fact I'm extremely proud of!
Your side of the story about being pressured feels off to me. As dispatchers we do get in trouble if we do that and we don't have time to get in trouble, we only have time to get everybody well paid.

Our members are real people, but allowed to remain anonymous because of a very powerful tool YOU have called DAC.

I personally can see how you feel about drivers, since you automatically assume they were at a strip club drunk, or the load shifted, due to driver error. Go ride with one of your drivers for a week. See what they deal with, because your assumptions are DEAD WRONG 99% of the time. If a driver had to hard break, most likely, its because of a 4 wheeler, cutting them off, because they were on thier stupid phone and distracted, or something of the like.

I DO NOT take kindly to people coming in here and making blanket insults toward our members. Those have been removed.

If you continue to insult, instead of debate with FACTS, your time here is short lived.

I dont know anything about that company or the driver in question.
    My question is to administrator.
Where did you get your info from?
99% four wheeler faults? Really? There is plenty of moron truck drivers causing countless problem for everybody else on the road. Its is so easy to blame everything on the other people, but its big fat lie. And as far as bussines savvy of some drivers, i wonder sometimes if they could walk and chew gum at the same time.
