I called all them numbers just getting a run around like the psp received from congent i.d. But the tsa hasn't received so I called psp headquarters and got an answering machine I'll keep calling every day till I get something as far as I know I can't drive after hazmat expires I can't afford that

 

Since the process is/may be different for your HME in Pennsylvania compared to here in Texas, what all did you receive for documentation when you applied for the HME renewal and background check/fingerprinting? There must be something that can be used to track down your application if the state lost you in their system.

 

Pay attention to the fact the video is an hour long. You do not have the time to do it that way. You will have 30 minutes plus approx 5 minutes extra to hook the trailer. Keep moving, keep talking, keep touching, keep telling what you are looking for. A great example is when you are checking the lugs nuts say " I'm checking for rust streaks or shiney spots which would alert me to a possible loose nut". Identify a part and decribe what problems you are looking for.

 

Ya pa uses congent I.d. After you go to a local place I got a confirmation that the psp has received but wasn't able to speak to anyone there and tsa just said they don't handle pa but can view status just says in processing

 

I was reading the FAQ for Pennsylvania's HME process. It says the process takes 8-12 weeks, but it has been 13 weeks already.

I wish I could help you more. The more different agencies that get involved in these things, the more screwed up they become! Texas has already had its share of similar issues with the medical certification being attached to a CDL license in recent years. It is even worse when a license gets downgraded and you have to sort it out because some bureaucrat made a data entry mistake!

Unfortunately I think I'll be facing a downgrade I did it in plenty of time I'm furious I'm trying to close on a house and it will be near impossible if Walmart can't let me drive until cleared

 

Keep your head up. You still have a few more weeks. These things with the government always come down to the wire. I would be furious too! My HME expires next March and I will be renewing it in October just to avoid these similar issues. I was hired in 2013 and have yet to have hauled a placarded load!

 

Do you need to check tire pressure with a gauge or hammer? What about slack adjusters? Found out that my test is next Wednesday.

 

A tire thumper is fine you do not need to check the air pressure with a gauge. You do not have to yank on the slack adjusters.
