Hello everybody, I am hoping to get some guidance with regards to my situation. I graduated from driving school back in January and it took 4 months to receive my Haz-mat endorsement. Once I got it I signed on with Schneider National Bulk Division. I was with them for all of 9 days when they released me for a violation of company policy( I admitted to smoking marijuana within the last 5 yrs.) They put it on my D.A.C. and now nobody will touch me. I was unaware of there company policy and was just being honest. Passed urine/follicle test as well. I am seeking a regional position and live in Houston, Texas. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would call a lawyer to erase it , you never fail the test which is really what should matter, i'm not sure that they just can do that. my best friend fail the hair test with JB and they didn't put it on his DAC because its not federally required.

Exactly what does your DAC have on it? Seems you didn't even have a CDL the last time you smoked pot. That's what I would tell any future employers anyway.

Try McCurdy M.W. & Company in Houston. @gcthomas - go to their office and ask for an application and interview. This will be better than a phone call.

    Like China Town said....
You were not a cdl driver at the time, so this has nothing to do with your DAC report or driving career at all
....call them and ask them to remove this off public records or you will call a lawyer for advice ,
If they are smart they know what that means

What's not to get? Maybe he last smoked weed 3 or 4 years ago, and tested clean today and only issue is his written confession.

But let this be a valuable lesson to other idiots who think it's okay to smoke weed today, because what you do today has consequences for tomorrow. I don't care that a few states legalized weed. Being a moron is perfectly legal too but see how far that gets you in today's highly competitive world with many fighting for few jobs.

And maybe you should go hang out in another thread.
Look, we all know drug threads can turn viscous so let me say it now. If you have nothing but contempt, suspicious thoughts or vague insults then stay out of these kinds of threads.

I honestly don't have any advice. I have never heard of this and I'm not a very good DAC expert.

    Chinatown Thanks this.
