I'm gonna run back there and use the microwave while the rpms are elevated. Puny inverter in this mutt......I don't think my outfit ranks very high.

Dropped at GSF and picked up at Frozen Assets in Chicago. Delivering that tomorrow in Rogers, MN then picking up in Newport going to Aberdeen, MD.

Sticking with my Mexican theme from yesterday, I had a breakfast of two ham soft taco things with peppers and salsa I bought out the back of a truck... Danger is my middle name.

Poked a small hole in the freezer chipping ice out with a pair of scissors and cold air came blowing out. Taped it up with duct tape but the fridge isn't keeping anything cold now

 

Don't know if I'm posting this to the right thread or not.... Was on the conference call with Chad today. He basically went over the survey results, how Driver of the Month & Driver Excellence awards are rated, new customers & more lanes, added trucks to the fleet (not just replaced old ones), miles should have picked up and will continue to, possible changes to performance pay criteria. They're looking at upgrading driver "lounge" in Fargo, and at crowded parking for LTD at CR. Didn't sound like there were many drivers on this call, so there wasn't a lot of discussion. I suggested a way to increase speed limit is to offset it by more heavily-weighting MPG in performance pay (the faster one drives, the lower the MPG which = lower cpm). Chad said he would look into that.
On another note...my trip out west conflicted with my mandatory home time in July, so that got canceled. My fault, but it still sucks...was looking forward to seeing new territory.
