Has anyone had it happen that a shipper or receiver opened your door and help themselves into your cab to wake you up? I've had this happen once, in Toronto when I was delivering to an ethnic Chinese produce house.
I rolled onto the lot at about 2 AM and went to sleep Around 7:00 I hear the drivers door opening. Then I saw a friendly Chinese fellow in my cab saying I can back into a dock now. I thanked him, but though WTF was that?
Maybe it's their culture to do stuff like this.

Mag Lite, Scmag Lite..lol I keep my tie down bar in the sleeper if I am in it....
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Why was your door unlocked?
-
My doors are locked whether I am asleep or not.The Challenger Thanks this.

I rolled in during the middle night and was dead tired and just crashed without remembering to lock the doors. Usually I do keep the doors locked at night.
-
I keep mine locked even when I am rolling down the road. If parked and the windows are down and someone tries the door. You can hear it. If they step up on the running board to open the door you can feel it. I like to be prepared and aware of my surroundings at all times.HIDIVE Thanks this.
