Just a heads-up on these guys, just left them after about 3 months of pulling dry
vans thru midwest, being dispatched from Edwardsville, IL by a guy named Jeff C.
Supposed to be "No Forced Dispatch", not the case at all, will shove loads at you, the
majority of which can't be delivered legally, then throws a fit when you tell him you
can't make it work.Talked with management about a load board change, only thing
available out of the Springfield, Mo area with them was a power service only opportunity,
not for me.Long story short, took a job with another local company, and although it made
no difference to them, they had pointed out to me what this guy had wrote on a performance
history questionnaire " Reason For Leaving: abandoned load, had to recover", this after
delivering their empty trlr to Hartford, IL 233 mi , which the location was chosen by the
maint director, on my time and fuel.I do have the emails and associated documents to prove,
was wondering if I could bring some kind of legal action against this low life.

Do you have a signed delivery receipt? Have your attorney send them a letter questioning the abandon load issue.
mountaingote and superflow Thank this. -
Put a big number on a lawsuit, say $500K, tell the attorney he can have 1/2 of what ever he gets for you.
BigTennOTR and White_Knuckle_Newbie Thank this. -
You are so correct, ever wonder why you don't ever see another ML trucks on the road...this company is a pimp and they dont have any of their business together. I left them, too! Only made $2100 in 3 whole months. Go through your settlements with a fine-tooth comb, too, they double charge and put fake and other erroneous charges on the settlements!FitTruckerATL Thanks this.

I first heard of Meadow Lark in February 2016. I looked at their website and gave recruiting a call. The recruiting guy is in NC, his name was John. He was very articulate and seemed to be very informed; answered all my questions. I spoke with him maybe once more before completing the online application. There were so many red flags after that. To make a very long story short.......you will not make any money here. I netted only $2650 in 6 weeks of running with them. They have NO customer freight. All loads are found on load boards. Settlements are paid to your agent and your agent pays you.
I have way too much to say about this operation but not enough time.FitTruckerATL and Wildman7154 Thank this. -
Let me also say, avoid them like the plague.

They got me too. Lost my truck, and my car. I only made 2600.00 in three months. Stay away please or you will go bankruptcy. They are trainedto lie to drivers.

I tried to make it work. They double charge for fees. They try to keep much money as possible. They are crooks. No frieght of there own. All do do is use load boards. Some loads average out to be .23 a mile after fuel and there fees. I want to let drivers to know, stay away!!!!!
