Well, I better get moving here. Have a lot of things in storage to move to get to all my on the road gear. Going to have an oil/filter change on the Durango before rolling out.

People ask me "What are you going to be doing for the 4th?" For most of my adult life, my answer has usually been "Working." I always get tickled when my kids ask me what I'm doing for President's Day or Martin Luther King Jr. Day. "I don't get those days off, punkin'." "Why not?" "I don't work in a bank or for the government."

Sounds like that won't change anytime soon with a truck driving job.

Fortunately, Amazon was planning on shutting down at noon today. And then they let most of us go home a couple hours early even on top of that. Too bad it's raining pretty heavy here in River City, otherwise I'd be grilling burgers outside.
