Overtime pay ! Make it happen .

I'm in the process of buying the property behind my place to avoid getting a neighbor. Not money I really wanted to spend but it is a good investment and I'll sleep better knowing there is no chance of a new neighbor.

 

I grew up with a nosey neighbor, she would bring a plate of lemon bars or cookies every time a new car came into the driveway. Including the time I got a new one.

My dream.... 100 acres and plop a house, barn, cabin, tent or anything right smack dab in the middle of it. Got my eye on a little over 200 acres that is pretty rough to get into but priced right at 250k. Just waiting on a couple of investments to mature.

 

And you won't be the star of a life alert commercial from falling down the stairs.

 

I got kids so we need a bit more space than a single guy or older couple with the kids out of the house would need. Single story ranch design. Ours is rectangular but if i ever do it again it will be L shaped with access to the pool on both sections. Open floor plan with cathedral ceiling. Master bed and bath on one side with the kids rooms on the other.

The regular driver broke his leg, they took my wrench, gave me keys and sent me on my way, heavy, with a note showing how to get around the scale at monteagle with no CDL for 6 months.

Finally got caught, back then things were different than now. I was told to drive it to the company and get my license.

 

Cabin.
With a shop big enough to pull the truck into, and a car lift, and an overhead crane. Keg in the fridge. Gun range outside. And one really good dog. If I want to be neighborly, I will go to the watering hole.
