Finally got all my road stuff dug out of the storage unit and loaded the car. Combined 2 large tool boxes into the one large one I take with me out there. Now I just have to do a fair bit of laundry (laundry mat gonna make some serious coin off me), Get the oil change in the car done and "hopefully" have lens crafters cut me a new set in a day to replace these foggy ones ... lol

 

Sounds like a fun day.

 

Yup. Going for the glasses thing right now. It seems the place I got them may be able to polish the light swirls (fog) out of them. Talk to y'all later.

 

Over at Amazon, we're gearing up for Amazon's big birthday sale next week. Lots of extra help has been hired, everybody's going to be working mandatory overtime, and I'll be going in an hour early three days next week.

Yesterday, instead of my usual job of packing out customer orders, my boss had me helping to set up the extra workstations we'll be using next week.

So there I was, getting Line 4 ship shape and ready to go. I'd installed four workstations and was in the middle of restocking them with the full suite of things an Amazon packer needs to do his/her job, when my other boss came by. "Drop what you're doing and come with me," he said. So I dropped the stack of flat boxes I'd been carrying and followed him from Line 4 (where I was working) to Line 5 (where some other guys were working doing the same thing I was).

"Okay," he said, "I need you guys to stop working on Line 5. We need Line 4 ready by the end of shift. So I want you all working on Line 4."

That would be the Line 4 that I had been IN THE MIDDLE OF WORKING ON when he came by and told me to drop what I was doing and follow him.

 

Nice easy drive this morning,left north bend a little to early,but its better to be safe than sorry.Get here and the guy tells me they can't get me till 0900,clock burning down,shot dm another message,hopefully can get something to get out of the area.Only have 18hrs for 3 days need to try to get a reset at some point,before heading east.
