Hi, not sure where to post this, but I have an odd question. I am looking for a company that doesn't just haul all one thing or get you stuck to either van or flatbed dedicated like. If you have seen Ice Road Truckers then you know what I'm talking about. Where everyday you could be hauling something different. Van one day. Flatbed the next. Oversize. Anything. Not saying I want to go all gung-ho and drive on the ice roads but a similar company in the diversity of loads offered. Does anyone here know of any out here in the lower 48 that offer something like that?

6 years Otr van driving. 1 yr of it city. Some refer. 2 yrs so far as o/o lease. No extra endorsements yet. But studying to take those tests and put them to work over the next 2 years until my contract is up. So it's not so much that I am looking for now. But gathering information. Once I am done with this contract, I would just like something more than the same ol same ol everyday van haul. It gets dull.

I'd like to know this as well. Sure help keep from feeling stuck in a rut. That's one thing I like about flatbed. There is a little more variety in it.

    Dboki09 Thanks this.

The company I work for has a van/reefer div and a flatbed div. And they will let you switch, but not often. Certainly not often enough to combat boredom and burn out.

Be an owner op and have only
the power unit, then you can take any trailer you want to the moon and back.

Giuseppe Ventolucci and Dboki09 Thank this.
