It is alleged that securing any attachment keeps it from detaching itself from the unit whole and jumping off the trailer into the road/another vehicle.

I'll just pass that along.. Won't say I agree with it. But I secure it that way because it's required, not because I think it's a realistic likelihood.

 

Sitting behind Lincoln Center with stage weights.....just waiting for the guys to show up with a machine. 11 pallets 16"x30" by maybe 18" high.

 

I agree, I do it because that's what they want wether I agree or not so I just shake my head and do it. I try to share what I've learned the hard way take it or leave it makes no difference to me.

This customer only wants straight truck. Idk why, I'm unloading in the street. Wouldn't have made a difference if I had a trailer other than it's overkill. Oh well. They pay the bill I do the work!

Plus all their work goes to the theatre district so there's always ridiculous amounts of eye candy.....or rats as big as cats....
