i was going to apply to prime, but i have a history of depression, would prime still hire me?
-
Ok, on to the serious answer, are you on anything fir the depression? Do you feel like running people over with your car or just running off the road by yourself? Depending on the severity of the depression they might take you. Beat thing to do is call the recruiter and ask to speak to someone in the medical group so you can ask then about your medical question. Just don't tell the recruiter what you're asking about, but you just want to talk to them before you make your final decision.FullMetalJacket and 123456 Thank this. -

Well, it's official. I start my Prime orientation on 7/25, 1 week from today! If anyone is at the terminal come say "hey" if you can find me.

Are you still with PRIME?

I got my permit today, passed some endorsements, too: combo, air brakes, tanker, & doubles/triples! I was really happy about that last one, I didn't even study for it.

I have a question about background checks in case anybody has a real answer,..and not a ######## reply. I have been deciding between companies for about a month now. I have worked at a conagra factory for over a year. I received attendance points when my mom had heart attacks at the end of 2015,...sympathy and points. My mom had more issues in January and passed. To shorten this up,.. i got another point when missed because mom went back in hospital,...AND even though i got approved to take extra time after her passing,...they gave me a point (final warning). Anyways,.. i was "dismissed" mid june. Even though i had reasons,...how picky is Prime about job history? I mean will i not get accepted because of terminations? I understand stealing or trying to kill a coworker,..but still. I also (like most) have debts i'm trying to pay off,..even making payments for state taxes owed. Does your credit or personal stuff make a difference as well? I spent my adult years in factories,...that throw you under the bus , overwork you,....or like my last drop you to 25 hours a week. My (late) dad drove for foodliner years ago, and although i'm now 48,.... i want a CAREER,.. not another unstable factory job. Hopefully i get a chance at trucking..
