Day three. If you've ever heard of the infamous "Millis 500", that's what we did all day today. We all got plenty of time learning how to shift. The other two folks in my class have never driven stick, they did really well all things considered. I've driven stick all my life, and I feel like it put me at a disadvantage. But, I did fairly well I think. I have the double clutching down, but downshifting is a pain to get used to. Looking forward to more practice. Tomorrow we will be driving a few laps with a trailer, to get used to the length. Then we will be getting into parallel parking and backing. Nightly assignments seems to be the theme here. I have some reading to do and some tests to take before I go to bed. Peace y'all. I'll update again tomorrow.

Right on. I have no idea if your schedule will be like mine, since you will have a different instructor than me. Everyone here is really nice, I'm sure you'll get the same treatment there

Day four. I thought we'd be in the trucks today, I must have heard the instructor incorrectly. Classroom time again. Since our class is so small, we are ahead of schedule as far as that goes. Tomorrow morning we will be going over the pre-trip inspection in the garage. After that we will be out in the yard hooking and dropping trailers, and backing. Not much more to report, I'll check in tomorrow.
