There ya go,they work great.Think drivers only complain because that's just how this industry is.Theirs always a solution to parking next to noise but I guess they feel complaining is easier.Milkman719 Thanks this.

I started off with reefers. So I got used to them cycling as I got used to sleeping in the truck.
By the time I went local, I'd just learned to ignore anything outside the truck. UNLESS the truck was rocking from somebody hitting it, or some fool climbing on it. -
Once in a while, perhaps.
For weeks at a stretch?
No thanks.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
When you are tired enough, you dont care and go right to sleep. The real trick is finding a spot late at night and waking up after 10 in the morning. By 8 am most of the drivers have left. That is unless there is a snow storm and no one can leave.
Milkman719 Thanks this. -
I can sleep next to a busy railway with those 4500hp monsters whipping by every few hours. Would go to a meat plant in Friona TX that had the driver parking area right next to the twin BNSF main lines. Had no trouble sleeping.
Truck stops are quiet in comparison.wore out and lovesthedrive Thank this. -
Ok I am a railroad enthusiast so I must be biased. Yet the sound of a GE locomotive running her 16 cylinder puts me to sleep. Granted I let the wife know this and if I am to pesky she will play this on the stereo. For some reason I can never remember what happens next. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I had someone yell at me for parking a cattle pod next to their truck and how it smelt awful.
This was a pretty good trick as the trailer had been washed. disinfected, washed again. Lined with plastic and was currently carrying random dry van items.
We run our cattle pods west to Alberta/Manitoba/Saskatchewan with dry goods and then they get converted back to proper cattle pods and haul back to Ontario and Quebec. I'm not even a cattle hauler. They just needed to get a cattle pod west. Stupid twits #####ing without actually knowing anything. -

I have clearly said to much. -Flee!-
Wasn't aware that you also knew Canadian companies. (Even if they are owned by US.) Figured you stuck to US ones to keep from having your head explode.
