Ive come to expect that of broker loads in the few I have done.

Kind of find it amusing that their entire business involves trucks moving freight yet they can't seem to get the most important aspect of that right.

Oh wow, are you a CPA? I was a lowly staff accountant and had the intention of tackling it, but decided sitting at a desk behind a computer all day was soul crushing:)

Oh no I'm sorry, that was a typo. Should have been GPA. No my previous occupation was quite uplifting for the soul. But trucking is cool too. :)

Done many a 34 there. That's one of things I loved about WS. Unless I called them I almost never heard from anyone. Pretty much just QC beeps. Although I did get a call from one of the top managers once.

Him: Hey Chris, how long you been out there this time?
Me: Roughly 3 months give or take.
Him: Think you'd like to take a little home time anytime soon?
    Me: Do I have to?
Him: Have to? No, but you probably should. I see you're in SFS, how about a run to Sayreville to stretch your legs a bit?
    Me: Ok, sounds good. Thanks

As I wrote in my thread a few times. That job was the closest thing to being self employed you could get as an employee. :)

    Finfn1372 Thanks this.

I heard an Abilene driver won the Mega-Millions and bought the ticket at a truckstop in Indiana.
