Well, I know I won't be the one passing you in this slow truck. First two weeks in it I was passed by like five Abilene Trucks... One I know was empty because we both dropped at the same place and then @WotansVolkman passed me up going to Florida and I left before him and both had HP loads...

So, if I see you coming up on me, be prepared for me to try to block you from either lane!!!

 

Meh don't feel bad this Volvo i'm in is also slow,guess we'll be holding up traffic.

Yeah @Redtwin the thing about running the north is youll always catch traffic atleast one way.

 

As I understand it an image of the scale ticket is either emailed to you or stored on the app. You then attach that image to the others you take of the bols etc.

I have yet to get past the setup stage though. I just dread using that efs card for anything other than fuel for fear of charges showing up on my settlement.

Ya, I get an unofficial copy via email... Next time I submit a scale ticket I will try to grab it from within the Transflo App... I know the TF App only grabs photos so I will have to look to see if what is sent via email is a photo or something else.

I was thinking about making the Cover Sheet some kind of Word/Pages Document but I could see I way to pull it into the TF App.

 

I nearly got caught up in the weekend wanderer traffic but shut down at noon just before it got too nasty heading north.

I still have 530 to get to consignee near philly so it's another midnight run to beat the MD/495 madness and shut down hopefully by 9am tomorrow. I then have to sit on the load until 11am Monday but I will have had a good start on mileage for cutoff week so no complaining from me ...today...about miles.

 

I just looked back at the emails from the Cat App... They send you a PDF not an Image File... I will still look in the TF App again but I don't think it can see a PDF... Only image files.

 

My idea was to laminate a cover sheet then just use a dry erase marker to fill it in. Take a photo then wipe it clean for reuse.

Download the pdf then open it using a picture app.

I like the laminate idea... But I have been using the backsides of the cover sheets to track the details of the QC and for my records. One sheet for both the office and me.

I might need something different and try that laminated cover sheet idea.

I hope you don't mind if I steal, uh er uh, give the idea a test run...
