It is pretty easy to scroll through all the drivel you posted and see who is really being civil. No one invited you here, but you can certainly be thrown out of here if needed. You have said more than enough to do so. Just let me know and I will make it happen.

Sorry, we're not going to sit here and let someone who does not work for our company and does not understand the way we work, insult us and spread falsehoods. We're proud of where we work and will defend it.

I hate to muddy the water with facts, but according to the FMCSA for the 24-month reporting period ending 24 June 2016:

    Walmart has 6,476 trucks vs ABF's 4,229.
    Walmart has 8,310 drivers vs ABF's 7,067.
Walmart had 6,749 inspections and ABF 2,959 during the reporting period.

ABF trucks are put out of service 3.3 times as Walmart: 12.9% vs 3.9%

ABF drivers are put out of service 5.5 times as often as Walmart drivers when hauling non-HazMat: 1.1% vs 0.2%

ABF drivers are put out of service 16 times as often as Walmart drivers when hauling HazMat: 3.2% vs 0.2%

As for crashes, inspections and unsafe driving:

ABF was inspected 2,959 and received 1,119 violations during those inspections. Received violations 37.8% of the time. (2.4 times the rate of Walmart).

    ABF had 290 crashes.

ABF had 340 unsafe driving violations
ABF had 319 driver inspections with unsafe driving violations

Walmart was inspected 6,749 and received 1068 violations during those inspections. Received violations 15.8% of the time. (Less than half that of ABF. (41.8% of ABF.)).
    Walmart had 368 crashes.

Walmart had 407 unsafe driving violations
Walmart has 398 inspections with unsafe driving violations

So, Walmart has 2,247 more trucks, 1,243 more drivers and was inspected 3,790 times more than ABF.

Yet Walmart received 51 fewer violations during inspections, only 67 more unsafe driving violations, only 79 more driver inspections with unsafe driving violations, and had only 78 more crashes.

It seems to me that the numbers speak for themselves as to which company has the better equipment and drivers.

With ODFL and FXF taking over, where are you going to work when ABF closes its doors? You're pretty young and hope you're saving money because central funds sure wont be around to help you out!

I'm going to ask you guys again to move on with the thread. Some of you are still trying to bicker with someone who is no longer here to bicker with. This is a great thread, so let's get it back on track, please.

    WallyWife and drozzer69 Thank this.

I am on LOA currently, so I do not know. Last I heard from my HR (back in March) was August 1st.

If that's true, and they give us less than two weeks notice, there's gonna be some angry people here.
