This is what we can't understand. "Piss poor planning?"

Sounds like the only one that has that issue is you! Don't get defensive!! I'm not being mean.

Everyone else would make that work and not have an issue.

    Here's what I don't understand..

Why did you have to start your clock so early?

Why is it so important to have hours after loading, don't you need to sleep?

If it was so necessary to start your clock that early the "piss poor planning" is on you! It's a 4 hr drive from Dallas to Tulsa. You start your clock deliver and go sleeper if you're so hard headed. You go sleeper until 8 hrs or drive up there and wait 8 hrs on their location, then leave.

Your hard head is keeping you from miles. Everyone else is getting them. I average 12 k. But what do I know.

Anyone who bites the hand that feeds them won't get fed!

Almost forgot. Don't you also complain about "unrealistic fuel mileage" goals?

Pretty certain that long dead head would help!

    ncmickey Thanks this.

There's also a couple miracle inventions.

Toilet paper, a 5 gallon bucket, and kitty litter!

The comment about Matt couldn't be further off! Matt is a great dispatcher. He has a great personality and takes care of those who take care of him!
    I enjoy working his area!

Sincerely, Pigbacon. Truck 1670, (this idea borrowed from a co-worker without permission.)

Wow that was a long one phew...one piece of free advice @supersnackbar for researching the next spot. Read their whole thread carefully and if possible correspond with drivers (several) before making the jump.

If you go back to the beginning of this thread you'll get a good idea of how we run, I knew coming in there would be a ramp up time and I budgeted for it. I do feel for you, like you things are tight for me, but I'm determined to make it happen.

Hey let's be completely honest here, if someone kills themselves on the back of your truck you are screwed no matter what, we're truckers and to the majority of America that makes us pond scum.

In normal space most of us just do what we have to to make this work and pay our bills, and in a perfect world we'd like to see you be able to do the same, with maybe a smidge less whine...

I ran for them way back 97 to 99
They were decent people, but thems people all gone.
    Was good equipment, crappy pay.
Sugar, Caterpillar, frozen turkeys, ànd French fries.
Fargo co's are notorious for lousy pay.
    I:m glad they've gotten better
