I guess I'll Change my name to Rover, then. That is if I have to sit up and beg for a "treat".

    That is so not me.

OK. Crazy day yesterday. Started with talking to Don about my load not being ready and taking another HP load going to Kingwood, Texas. Drove to Plant 1, it took the guys there a good minute to find out the load was back at the yard. Found my trailer but an hour down by the time I left the yard. Hit a weight station in NC and a DOT inspector took a special interest in my trailer. He was firmly convinced my trailer wasn't properly wired; our shared stories about our military past saved me a ticket but I still got written up for no brake lights. Almost 2 hours later and a good soaking from mother nature; IT WAS A FUSE! Cut through more stupid on the road and pulled into a full Pilot in GA with 0 hrs and 0 mins on my clock. Pulled off the road and called myself done!

Called my wife and told her to watch out for that MacDaddy character :p and went to bed.

Twice now I have had HP loads where the trailer wasn't where it supposed to be. On one of them dispatch figured out pretty quickly but the other had me running around two HP plants before giving up and returning to the yard...where I found it in less than 3 minutes.

That one wound up being 1:45 minutes late because it was "lost".

May be a good idea to invest in satellite tracking of the trailers. At least keep tabs on the loaded ones that have customers waiting.
