We do have some great equipment, tractors and trailers. Lost count of how many times i have rolled passed junk heaps that look like you need a tetanus booster to even get near them.

Well the TA had no power so got sent to a shop in columbus, while dealing with this got a move and drop at gatorade

The next resident of 1514 will have a new fuse and a new 7 pin cord. Tech should be done soon.

One question....at what point does breakdown pay kick in....i doubt im at the threshold but just curious for future reference. Itll be about 3-4 hours total when done. Thanks

Ya, I should of made a video of the trucks at loves last night in Houston. A dot inspector would make a boatload in fines if one walked thru there :eek:

    Simple, say the following:

"I will call Victor and ask to be routed back towards Richmond so that we can have a heart to heart; face to face discussion."

Also, did you get your next load?
If you did, did it come from the morning planners or did you send in another QC message?

We all want you to find your success here!!!

Ok, MD's funny story of the morning... :)

Right Front turn signal stopped working on Friday... Since the Right Front dim headlight was also "extra" dim, I opted to swing by the Yard to get that whole light unit replaced as that is what they did the last time for my "extra" dim headlight issue.

Go to the body shop and explain... They don't want to replace that light unit this time so they put in a new bulb... Ok... Didn't help... I asked about the turn signal, he said "the garage does that"... Really? You can change the head light but not the other bulb that is 10 inches away? Ok... He also said they have a machine for the headlight issue... Ok, hey, new machine... Yeah.

So, after dropping my trailer, I go to the shop, write it up, wait just a little bit, and they go to fix the turn signal issue... I asked about the head light... He goes to put another new bulb in but I explained we already replaced it... They it needed the "machine" to fix it... He says "what machine?"... I explained a bit more... Nope... Don't know anything about a machine and told me to go back to the body shop... LOL.

SO... My turn signal is working... I am once again legal... So... I got the heck out of dodge... And now I also know how to change a turn signal in a Volvo... Woot Woot

    Still have one dim headlight... {shrug}

We do have fun times on the yard!!! :)

    Stay Safe,
    MD

Oh, and today at my drop I didn't have much room to work around parked cars, big rolls of paper, and empty trailers parked everywhere...

Only option seemed to be a "U-Turn" in Reverse... And dang if I didn't do it... LOL

    :wav:

Ok, yes, I had fun doing it with multiple pull ups and adjustments... It sure wasn't pretty... But I didn't hit anything except the dock and left the gate an hour ahead of time too....

There's a first for everything and now I know I can hit a dock door doing a U-Turn in reverse!

I just hope I don't need to do it again soon. ;-)

There were a few waiting yesterday. I overheard something about the HP plants not loading any outgoing trailers when they should have.

I picked up a sabra going to IL. Not sure why the others waiting didn't get it. Maybe they needed to head in certain directions for hometime or whatever. It couldn't possibly be that 20 spot I slipped through the window.

    JK!!!!! :D

I was wondering about that... I have never had a trailer that needed washed out... Didn't even know we could do that... Thanks.

I came on the yard under load and didn't stay long enough to have them remove it from me...

    LOL

But I will soon be deadheading back to HP DC so I too might be sitting on the yard soon.

But if drivers are backed up, why bring another one into Richmond? Maybe they have HP flowing again ... Oh well, not my concern.

I go where the send me...
Well, most of the time... ;-)
