I didn't know about the blue beacon washouts. Can we take trailers there whenever we feel it necessary without prior approval?.

I am very cautious about doing stuff that may wind up coming out of my pay.

I was sat around waiting for a load anyway. Driving to a beacon would have been "free" work too, though nowhere as sweaty and annoying.

Having the truck looked at by the night crew.

If anyone is around, come say hello.

And I quote "We have a blue Beacon account. Don't need to call in or anything just make sure you turn in receipt and put it on your trip sheet"

Of course that being said, only do it if it's necessary. I've only had 2 trailers that were in great need of a washout. If you can make it to richmond, drop it in the last dock closest to the washbay and they will wash it out there. Alot cheaper at the yard.

    Redtwin and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.

Why? Are you in a new Volvo or KW?
