Dang. Get that checked. I had an exhaust leak behind the passenger side steps. Pull that skirt off and look at the flex pipe. The bracket rusted, and rubbed a hole in mine. Bout the size of a quarter.

 

Ohh I see. I guess it's not Halloween for me yet.

 

I had one on the engine that actually began to smoke when the fuel is ignited during some part of the DEF (can't think of real letters) process. That's why I am concerned now as I was feeling the same way prior to that issue in Upper NY State.

They said they checked it once and nothing and it's been through a PM since then too.

Just thought I would have Shane take a look at it since I am here at night but there is only one truck in the shop and he is working on it... And a stack of service orders ahead of me.

So I assume he is swamped.

 

So why the costume then???

 

I hear that bro. But in a way, Shane is good. Probably in the top 5 of the best mechanics here in my opinion. Good luck.

Hey guys, had an issue this morning that should be addressed. I was cruising back I-40 this morning headed east in NM, at around 4AM local. Doing my governed 68 mph, tooling along listening to the radio. Next thing i know, i see a car zoom up behind me. i keep an eye on it, as it sticks right my ICC bumper. Soon, it begins to flash it's high beams, as if to signal me. I slow down, to see if they just want by, even though i am in the right lane. They slow down. I hit the 4ways, and slow down further, to 35. They slow down with me, still flashing their lights. I make as if I were going to hit the shoulder, they ease over with me. At this point, my spider senses are tingling a bit. So, noticing a couple truck stops at the next exit, i jump off the exit ramp, and they follow me off the exit. Spider senses are going ape#### now. I spot the most brightly lit and crowded fuel lanes, and whip in. Upon seeing me do this, the car following me hits the gas and takes off. I firmly believe that the people in that vehicle were up to no good. Apparently, according to sources within the company, this isn't an isolated issue, so PLEASE be aware of your surroundings, and if something seems suspicious, it probably IS. Don't let people know what you are carrying, and might be a good idea to not advertise on a public forum or Facebook where you will be ahead of time.

I never chance it when up that way. Shut down early and grab a spot.
