Back in the day, before I landed my now 6year asphalt gig, I was looking into getting into SNI local/dedic, and they wouldn't even take me for a SEATBELT violation in my PV [which was a crock anyway because i unbuckled as pulling into gas station to get to my wallet] that was a year new. I had a 15 over when I signed on with a few other OTR's back 15 years ago, and was dependent on the company. Granted, this is here in Ohio. Just my 2cents.

I wonder about the 15 over meaning anything theses days,
On every small 2 lane 55 mph highway I have a lot of sweet looking middle age women pass me doing 70 plus mph (Onguard)
    .
Since they raised I 80 in PA up to 70 mph, it seems 80 to 85 is the normal cruising speed with a lot of 90 plus.

Parking Tickets it seems most companies exclude those. I got one at work a year+ ago they did not write it out to me personally just the truck I guess left it on my door I handed it to my boss at the time and he just said "We got a whole stack of them in here." That was the last I ever heard of it.

One of our vice-presidents told us out of his own mouth "parking tickets are the cost of doing business".

I have the same problem right now in that I have a +15mph ticket. It was after going down a hill there was a small town. I talked with a recruiter from Western Express, and I'm sure they're one of the crappy larger companies or something like I've read people talk about here, but to start I'm figuring I'm probably gonna end up with one of the crap companies to gain experience.

I had a 88 in 55 ticket on my record when I started in 2006. No reckless op and I had numerous offers. 15 over isn't automatic reckless op in car.

Depends on the state I reckon but it is one of the more severe speeding tickets.

Yes, it does. In Virginia Speeding becomes reckless driving if you are charged with 20+ over the limit or going over 80 MPH anywhere. I remember several years ago when a trucker was coming down the mtn on I 77 south in Virginia about 2 miles from the NC line. He was clocked at 85 and by the time the trooper got him stopped he was past the NC scale. If my memory serves he was charged with reckless driving in Virginia and speeding by NC plus a bypassing the scale charge. He passed me and by the time I got through the scale a Virginia & NC Trooper was there. There was a news piece on it in the wytheville paper I saw a few days later.
