I've got 13 yrs in B trucks driving in the mountains and snow. In the tractor trailer world, it means zero. I picked up driving semi pretty quick, but know I've got a lot to learn.
I did go through a fantastic driving school with a instructor who gave a hairy rats butt.. It's was fun to watch the other trainees that never drove in mountainous terrain a large vehicle sweat bullets. We Learned how float gears going down steep grade,it was something else! But glad I was taught how to do it.They all learned and took something from the exp.

Our trucks idle from 66 and up, and 25 and lower. We have bunk heaters that work VERY well for cool nights. I do get a bit warm above 60. And the temp settings suck eggs when the temp is 65 and it's raining.
