It's usually not worth it at least for me.
What good is 500 miles for $2 when you have to come out for $1? I can do better than that just saying in the midwest.
Sometimes there's okay paying loads coming of the black hole but they are few and go in .00000001 seconds.
Wait no nevermind, Northeast is awesome! Everybody go there and stay. More loads for me

Talking to SNI is like the government. Everybody knows a little but know one knows everything. I think it's why answers are all over the place from waiting lists to year of trucks you can bring on. Who knows.

A vacation along with a for hire Russian masseuse could be just what the doctor ordered. Might get your mind off the math equations and give you something to put all that hard earned money towards.;)

Keep looking, Friday, there's plenty of companies out there. Maybe you should enlist the Sage of Trucking Companies, Chinatown? As someone mentioned, getting that first year in, everybody knows that the steepest part of the learning curve is in that first year. That's why it's looked at. Not critical mass, but important. For you as a driver, let's not forget you'll be needing skills as time and loads, road conditions, and schedules all want you to learn their ways.

"Seek and ye shall find," Friday. Best.
