    I can still vaguely remember when my grandparents had a party line. They had a big yellow rotary phone hanging on the wall.

    We had a rotary phone and a party line..
    When we got touch tone key pad we thought that was neat.
    My one Grandmother had a small desk the phone sat on and a metal cover with all the phone numbers she ever needed or wanted wrote in that metal box, lift the lid and look on the sheets. All in listed order. Starting with A
