Friday and Waggledaddy Thank this.

Yep. Exactly what @sicksfeet said. Take today for example. 3 hr drive to live unload that took 2 hours. Then 2 hr drive to a drop and hook pickup that turned into a wait for lady to finish her muffin while I watched her through a window for 15 min then pull trailer out of door, put empty in.. So an hour of bs. Then drive four hours and I had to choose to drive for another hour and hope to find parking or park at a J that was almost empty. So, parked for the night. Total work time including pre trip and post? 9hr 30 min. Total time used on 14? 13hr. And tomorrow it'll be the same. 3hr drive to live unload and then who knows what I'll do after since no preassignment yet. But this is very normal. I almost never need a restart but I usually go 13+ hours a day. There are those long runs that allow for a full day of driving and nothing else.... But they're few and far between.
Waggledaddy and sicksfeet Thank this. -
Well..... ironically I had that day. I COMPLETELY understand now. I'm so ticked right now. The only thing that's keeping me from going nuts is this killer pot roast I had on the crock pot since noon. I'm not a big OMG guy but OMG!!!!
2 nights in a row I've had to call Schneider 911 (the emergency line). They really should answer the calls like 911 operators. That might get old real quick. I had to bobtail out of Home Depot because I completely gave up playing where's Waldo in their lot looking for empties. I had 30 min left on my clock and knew I wouldn't be able to hook and find a parking spot. Luckily 1 mile away there was a lot. Unluckily it costs $10 to stay here. WISKEY TANGO FOXTROT FOXTROT. I had 2 live loads today. Drove 364 miles. Which I actually looked and found that one of those trips was no where near the actual route to pay miles. 50 miles less to be exact. That's BS. To try to make up for my 3:30 min first load time I helped load the 2nd one lol. I'm such a fool.
But dude this put roast is so good.
I get here to park and go to walk to the place to pay and it starts pouring. Perfect. Perfect ending to my F'd up day. So I call 911 and she tells me to just go get one in the am and try to make my appt. So I'll do that.
Oh and I'm parked next to a cricket breeding ground. I may get a knock later on and get lucky!!!! -
You don't want that kind of lucky

You're 3 hours too late on the parking. I'm at the one near Cincinnati. Monroe? I guess I could have parked at the casino down the road a mile. But didn't show up on my parking app. I've only been to one other Home Depot. They were much more organized. This guard guy tells me to drop the trailer in the spot 450 against the building. I go all the way to the end where I can't turn around last number is 399. I'm pissed. I back a bit. 45 into an open spot. The trailer hauler guy comes by and said I passed 450. I said I didn't see it. He said it was in between 324 and 325. WHAAAAT? So I go to where they tell me to pick up an empty. None on my list. They said it was in section LTL 1000. No idea what that is or was. Never found it. I got boxed in to a corner where a US express driver looked to be straight line backing for the first time. He pulled up 5 times. And the best part was it was on the end. He just had to get it close. But I'm ticking away. I pulled in with 1:20 left in at 40 min now. GEEZ. I look at 2 more trailers and both have seals. Alright. I'm done. I told the lady at the desk that I'm showing 9 empties in this lot. None in the area they are telling me I can take from. I have no time left to look or go back and forth. I left at 30 min. Parked at 20 min. 15 min post and a call to 911. Lol I'm beat. What a crazy stressful day.
